History and Tradition

Established more than 27 years ago by veterinary surgeons David and Linda Anderson, who, by virtue of their professionalism, tireless dedication and genuine caring, turned Anderson Veterinary Group into a well known and appreciated establishment of the area, giving a valuable service to the community (including services for pet charities and dogs for the blind).

Mission and Philosophy

Our mission is to provide high quality veterinary medical care in a friendly, relaxed and personal atmosphere. In our clinic we provide services in all aspects of veterinary healthcare for your pet, from preventive health checks, vaccinations and neutering ( spay and castration ) to complex medical diagnostics, treatments and surgical procedures.

We know that you are your pet's guardian "parent" and as such is very important to you, which gives you the right (and duty) to decide what you think is in his or her best interest. We at Anderson Veterinary Surgery put great emphasis on involving you in the decision making process involving your pet, by making sure you have a clear understanding of your pet's medical condition and treatment options available. For additional information concerning your pet's condition or treatment, you can access the Pet Medical Library on our website, and we are more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. 

Another cornerstone of our philosophy is to keep our staff on top of fast appearing medical advances and continually develop our medical and surgical abilities, so as to make sure your dog, cat, rabbit, hamster, guinea pig or budgie receive the best and most up to date medical care available. In order to achieve these objectives we make almost daily use of specialized veterinary internet sites, and attend courses and seminars on various aspects of veterinary medicine.

There are three additional branches of Anderson Veterinary Group, each capable of providing full veterinary care, while each benefiting from a pool of knowledge and equipment provided by the Group as a whole.
