Appointment Policy

Walk-in clients are welcome, however appointments are preferred for our and your convenience in order to minimize waiting time.

Emergency cases shall always receive top priority followed by patients with previously scheduled appointments.

 

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered.

For your convenience, we accept major credit cards, debit cards, cash and personal cheques (with a guarantee card).

 

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.

All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

 

Prescriptions and medicines

Prescriptions are available from this practice.

You may obtain relevant veterinary medicinal products from your veterinary surgeon OR ask for a prescription and obtain these medicines from another veterinary surgeon or a pharmacy.

Your veterinary surgeon may prescribe relevant veterinary medicinal products only following a clinical assessment of an animal under his or her care.

A prescription may not be appropriate if your animal is an in-patient or immediate treatment is necessary.

You will be informed, on request, of the price of any medicine that may be prescribed for your animal.

The general policy of this practice is to re-assess an animal requiring repeat prescriptions for/supplies of relevant veterinary medicinal products every 3 months, but this may vary with individual circumstances. The standard charge for a re-examination is £12.50 +VAT.
